Health & Safety

Spa at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort Spa

Your well-being is PCMA’s #1 priority. Here’s what we’re doing to protect your health and peace of mind so you can focus on getting down to business.

PCMA has partnered with Safe Expo to oversee the onsite Health & Safety Plan in addition to adhering to Marriott’s Connect with Confidence. Both follow strict CDC guidance for meetings and events while still allowing guests to come together safely.

PCMA will require either a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination to enter EduCon 2021. After you have received the COVID-19 vaccine, simply link to your healthcare account to confirm your vaccine records in a secure, verifiable, and privacy-preserving way. Download and complete the Clear Health Attestation document here.

A COVID-19 test can be done in many different acceptable locations. Our friends at Inspire Health Alliance will kindly provide all in-person registrants a zero-cost at-home COVID test kit prior to them attending EduCon 2021. Obtain your no-cost COVID-19 test here.

If life gets in the way, on-site COVID testing will be made available to anyone who wants or needs testing. The Rapid Antigen (Abbott Binax Now) gives results in 15 minutes (cost $85 each), and the Rapid PCR (Lucira OTC) gives results in 30 minutes (cost $150 each). The cost of on-site testing will be the attendee’s responsibility, and payment will be due when the test is provided.

Symptom screenings and temperature checks will be conducted daily. Anyone with an elevated temperature of 100.4°F/38°C or higher will be offered the opportunity to re-check their temp or return to their room.

Masks are required and will be provided for attendees. To promote the health and safety of our Marriott communities, face coverings are required for guests and associates in all indoor public areas at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge.

Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the event. Hand sanitizer will be plentiful throughout the venue.

Social Distanced Seating. Current distancing guidelines will be followed for the set in each session room and in all open spaces.
