UPDATED JUNE 25, 2021: PCMA continues to monitor the changing landscape involving the CDC guidelines in regards to COVID-19 safety protocols along with our partners at Encore, Marriott, and Visit Phoenix. As guidelines change and cities across America are opening, we are excited about what this means for the future of business events, yet want you to know we are creating an environment for you to be comfortable.
Our culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusion thrives when we all come together. PCMA encourages all EDUCON participants to be vaccinated; however, a vaccination is not required for in-person attendance. PCMA respects your personal choices and is committed to safely accommodating all participants.
If guests are fully vaccinated, you will not need to wear a mask in the PCMA event space.
All guests will need to follow local guidelines and, while traveling to include ground transportation, airports, and transportation arranged by our partners throughout the event. Masks are encouraged in the public spaces of the JW Marriott Desert Ridge for those who are not fully vaccinated.
This is a very fluid time, and we will continue to evaluate what is best for the guests at EduCon to ensure we meet safely and you are comfortable. We will keep all participants updated as we get closer to the event.

PCMA has partnered with Safe Expo to oversee the onsite Health & Safety Plan in addition to adhering to Marriott’s Connect with Confidence. Both follow strict CDC guidance for meetings and events while still allowing guests to come together safely.
PCMA will require full vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test to enter EduCon 2021. If you have received the COVID-19 vaccine, simply upload your vaccination card to the Safe Expo secure portal by clicking here.
Once you are verified, you will receive a confirmation from PCMA via Ambassador@SafeExpo.org with your verification attachment. That attachment should be printed out and/or downloaded to your mobile device. Please check your junk mail if you do not see confirmation in your inbox.
A COVID-19 test can be done in many different acceptable locations. Our friends at Inspire Health Alliance will kindly provide all in-person registrants a zero-cost at-home COVID test kit before attending EduCon 2021. Obtain your no-cost COVID-19 test here.
If life gets in the way, on-site COVID testing will be made available to anyone who wants or needs testing. The Rapid Antigen (Abbott Binax Now) gives results in 15 minutes (cost $50 each), and the Rapid PCR (Lucira OTC) gives results in 30 minutes (cost $150 each). The cost of on-site testing will be the attendee’s responsibility, and payment will be due when the test is provided. You may now sign up in advance for onsite COVID testing here.
