Dionne Bishop is an award winning event planner having won a 2023 Smart Women in Meetings Award and the 2023 MPI Planner Member of the Year. Dionne is the founder of Events by Dionne Inc. and brings over 15 years experience in the event and marketing industries. Over her career, she has planned and overseen corporate and social events across major markets in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean. Dionne has worked with The Canadian Black Standard, Canadian Premier League, ADVANCE Music Canada, Culinary Tourism Alliance, and the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI), to name a few.

As a creative event strategist, she achieves results through her 6-phase framework in Experience Design and relationship building techniques for her clients and their diverse audiences.

Dionne is a Board Member & Secretary of the Executive Committee for the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO). She is the 2023 Logistics Chair for MPI Toronto’s The EVENT , Past-President and Gala Chair of International Live Events Association (ILEA) Toronto Chapter and an active member of Destination Toronto and National Coalition of Black Meetings Professionals.
