Lauren Parr is the Senior Vice President of Meetings and Learning for the American Geophysical Union. She oversees a portfolio of scientific meetings, events, and learning opportunities that span the breadth and depth of Earth, space and ocean science. She’s passionate about not only the business that meetings and conferences create but also the pivotal experiences that occur at those events and the role of scientific societies in scientific knowledge dissemination and capacity building. She serves as a Board member for PCMA and also leads AGU’s initiative on sustainable meetings and events.
