William has been organising events since the early 1990s. He is regarded as one of the thought leaders in Europe on meeting design and has been running cutting edge events for the last ten years. In 2018 William ran the first dedicated homelessness hackathon in Scotland. He looked to create real world, impactful, practical solutions to the dire homelessness situation in Scotland and his hackathon delivered. As well as a leading eventprof, William is and international speaker and author. William is Director of Gallus Events, an event consultancy and event management business and CEO of Practically Perfect PA, Europe’s largest online resource for Executive Assistants.
Michelle is co-founder & CEO of Pogo, www.pogo.io, a platform that accelerates decision making and removes bottlenecks for teams. Michelle Crames is an entrepreneur with relevant and broad leadership and operational experience in social media, mobile, entertainment, hospitality, and retail marketing. She previously founded Giiv, the first U.S. company to enable people to be thoughtful by sending gifts instantly via mobile device and redeemed in-store or online, and SkuLoop, a retail software-as-a-service company connecting online and offline to drive customer experiences and loyalty (acquired by Revionics in October 2012). Previously, Michelle served as CEO of Lean Forward Media LLC, an interactive media and entertainment company and has also worked at Warner Bros., The Walt Disney Studios, and McKinsey & Company. Michelle and the companies she has founded have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, The LA Times, Good Morning America, LIFE Magazine, and People. Michelle has served on the President’s Council of Cornell Women, the White House Business Council, the Film Advisory Board, and Spice Mobile’s Board of Directors. Michelle holds degrees in operations research and engineering and hotel and restaurant management from Cornell University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School where she received the Jasse Award as the student most exemplifying entrepreneurship and leadership skills. Michelle and her family reside in Los Angeles where they enjoy exploring California’s dynamic culture thru food, the arts, and outdoor adventures. She is passionate about access to nature for all and serves on the Griffith Park Advisory Board.
Executive Director, Human.nyc
Josh Dean is the Executive Director of Human.nyc in New York City. Human.nyc works to end street homelessness through research, organizing, advocacy, and most importantly by lifting up the experiences and expertise of people directly impacted by street homelessness. At the core of Human.nyc’s mission is the belief that the people directly impacted by street homelessness are the experts and should be at the forefront of homelessness policy reform. Human.nyc is the only organization in New York City focusing on street homelessness through organizing current and former street homeless New Yorkers and working on policy reform that directly responds to their specific needs.
Murdock is VP of Sales at Experient. He is passionate about inspiring his team to be curious and encourages collaboration across all departments. He holds a BS in Business from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. Prior to Experient, Jamie led the national sales team for Disney Destinations. He also held leadership roles at Hyatt, and Gaylord Hotels, where he was recognized as the Sales Person of the Year and received its CEO’s Leadership Excellence Award. Most recently he was awarded Citizen of the Year by Experient and named one of the Top 500 People in Events by BizBash.
Program Director, Back on My Feet Greater Los Angeles
Back on My Feet, a national nonprofit, combats homelessness through the power of running, community support and essential employment and housing resources. Our primary focus is assisting our members, those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, in gaining employment and ultimately self-sufficiency. Illah began volunteering with Back on My Feet in 2015 because she had personally experienced the determination, discipline, and self-confidence built through running and the power of transferring those triumphs to other areas of life. She began working for Back on My Feet a year later and currently serve as the Program Director for the Greater Los Angeles chapter where she has the privilege of playing a hands-on role in the success of their members.
Having spent a good portion of her career as an event experience design consultant, Donna’s now building a dynamic collaboration community for executives age 55+ who are striving to make a smooth segue from full-time job to part-time consulting gig.
